We met working at a small audit firm in Walnut Creek, and discovered a shared desire to concentrate on nonprofit organizations. In late 1994 we sharpened our pencils, designed letterhead, and got busy. When were you certified? Hilary became a certified public accountant in 1993, and Adele in 1991, after many years of bookkeeping, working in nonprofit agencies and specialized study. In addition, Adele has an MBA from Boston University, and Hilary has a Masters of Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco. How large is your firm? We have three on staff: Hilary Crosby, Partner and CPA Adele Kaneda, Partner and CPA Janette Kiehn, Office Manager
